actually just wanted to comment on the show and what it has made me realize...

I have only seen the show twice and it has made me realize that I have been a real hard ass on my kids.

I need to accept them as they are and not expect major changes that i believe they need to make.

none of the changes are bad, just be clean, get educated, and care about your health....

thier mother never forces any issue with them so they rebel against me, on anything that I feel is the right way to be a good man (all three boys)

so, I give up, basically due to them coming of age, and just hope they "GET IT" down the road.

I now see that all the hard times I have givin them in the past contributed to their feelings towards me and unfortunately shaped their character with no confidence in themselves.

man, I really screwed up on that one...I am so sorry for that. But as a guy I saw things black and white no gray areas just do it get it done and no lee way.

so just wanted to say thanks for having the show on TV , its good for these people to have an outlet for them and help show what as affected their lives...and others

lease let them know that their problems have made me aware of my shortcomings to, and they have helped by looking at themselves and getting help...thats nice...Matt

I have to say I have never been on such an organized and thoughtful interactive site before. I found myself jumping into everything like a moron before I read through basic information! I am happy to make a proper introduction before I do anything else!

I am a professional dancer making the transition from performing to teaching students ages 6-18.
My favorite movies include Amelie, Whale rider, Moulin Rouge, Sense and Sensibility and The Big Lebowski.
I've watched the show religiously since day 1. I missed some episodes here and there due to travel but stay caught up. In all that time I have loved watching: Josie deliver Chloe, Rachel address Iyanla as "Mother" who didn't let her get burned, Andy become an actual warm and loving human being, Lori send a balloon of love and loss to the heavens, Cassie forgive herself, and Jill utter some truly profound and moving observations.
