I am going to research what exactly a clinical and forensic psychologist is and does. I will get back to you on that later.

This thread is sure busy with Katz, for most of us not liking him in the first place. I'll give him a chance.

As far as I know, a psychologist can give advise and counsel, but doesn't prescribe medications, you need a psychiatrist for that.

I wonder how much the producers researched other posiblities?

I think having a psychologist is a great idea. He can probably help out before the coaches cross the line between therapy and coaching. I think if he's good at what he does it doesn't matter if he is male or female. Since he is a consultant he proabably won't be invloved in the day to day issues of things. I really don't see this upsetting the all the female thing in the house.
