I've tried to read it a couple of times. I like it okay but I'm just not that into fantasy. I love The Wizard of Oz, but to me that's different. I guess I want to like the book more than I do. That said, I would love to finish it, I'm just a slacker when it comes to that book.

Saw the musical, which was on Broadway - phenomenal!!! I hear the show differs somewhat from the book, but the story is almost like a ... soap!

That's cool Val! I saw the actress who plays the lead role interviewed on Regis and Kelly. It sounded like they actually edited it quite a bit so it would be a family show. Maybe it'll eventually travel out west! I'd love to see it!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Haven't seen the musical yet, but I was very satisfied with the book itself. Glad they have come out with a sequel, which I have just bought.
