Check out Allison's website! http://www.allisonstanley.com She's changed her homepage. She's back. But not really. Just almost. There is a collage of new pictures. They aren't very clear. But one of them seems to be of her, bald from chemo, with Patrick.

Yeah, I saw that a month or 2 ago. But they aren't very clear pictures..

I had the feeling that it was a short attempt to update the website...Maybe she just scanned a collage she already had..

In any case, the address is gone that used to be on the homepage.. I've been meaning to drop her a note..of support.. I still have it around somewhere..

I know she closed her message box.. or whoever helps manage the site for her.. because of nasty messages from SO fans.

I always understood her ... because of her background and insecurity issues. The cancer was a bad thing that happened but hopefully it did help her get the help she needed to really get back on track. I would enjoy seeing a real update about her. I hope she is doing well..

I know there was a _link_ at one point from something she did in the spring.. I'm sure the _link_ is still somewhere in her forum.. (She was part of some sort of women's show and one of 3 women highlighted whose stories were shared as a part of the program. )

Who knows, were it not for the show, they might not ever have determined that she carried the gene that would have made a future recurrance likely.

I thought the comment almost.. was a tiny mockery toward those who bombarded her site with nasty messages.. Who would want to open themselves up to that sort of criticism again? I don't blame her or whoever is in control of it.

I think you have to pay upfront for domain names.. Maybe once that expires...the site might die too. I noticed Denise's site is gone now..

I think many of the "nasty" messages were from viewers wondering about Allison's drinking during her second stay in the SOH.

I wonder if Denise has a MySpace account. Like so many other past SOHG's. Since it's free.

It would be nice if Allie actually had a web site and not some blue blurry pics. I was disappointed.

The original website, Allison's Adventures in Wonderland, supposedly begun by friends and supporters, was shut down during her second stay in the SOH because of negative feedbak from "angry" viewers. I suspect, though, that the website's solicitation of donations for Allison's "medical expenses" became an embarrassment, once she admitted that her debt had nothing to do with illness but overspending. Maybe she's giving this more time to "blow over" before she starts another website.
