It seems odd though, don't you think to not mention SO and if she did talk about it and the show edited it out, then that is also really bizarre! I think it makes for a really great and interesting story to describe her experience.

Sometimes other stations don't want another station's show mentioned even when over- depends on producers sometimes.

Another thing might be the angle they are using. From what I read in the recap (which unfortunatly isn't much of one) on each guest that day... they seemed to concentrate on the reasons why they kept the information from family, what happened when they revealed it, and where they are now.... They may have cut it out or told her not to mention the show in order to keep that angle... (this deep dark secret brought pain to themselves for keeping it but even though it may hurt those around them... it gets better)
Talk shows are known to do that on some degree.

Shrugs... not saying that's what happen but just speculating.

Mejustme,

But she seems to have gotten back on track. Hopefully anyway. I guess she's realizing that Real Estate, crochet and lip gloss are not easy career options. ( She was hawking crocheted caps and homemade lip gloss on Ebay for a time) I read the recap of the show and looks like now she is concentrating aesthetician(ing)... Skin care I think? I thought she was trying to pursue some modeling gigs too... Or at least she indicated that one time on her myspace.

And now in another thread they are talking about her wanting to be a life coach! Please, she is no more a life coach than she was an artist. I know she is young and trying to find her way, but she just needs to go to school and find her way. She wants an "instant career". She will give up on this too.

mjm, I think the other thread was about Christie... not Christina..

I think Tara has links to their blogs in the upper left part of the page. Most of the women's blogs haven't changed for some time. No change in Christies..

I know it's easy to get Christie and Christina mixed up...

Just wanted to point it out...

I only saw a few "snippets" of Dr Ablow's first show. I liked him. He seemed to be a "tell it like it is" sort. I wish I'd seen his show the day Christina was on. But, I doubt I would've learned anything new. She didn't mention SO? Unless it was Dr Ablow's policy, she wasn't restricted from doing so. At one time, I understand, former SOHG's signed a contract forbidding them from discussing their experiences for the first year after they were on the show. But, now that the show has been cancelled, I doubt any such restriction exists. Anyway, wasn't Jill posting blogs about her episodes right after they aired?

Dang...I almost peed my pants...not another one...please no, not Christina too. Although, I guess it's to be expected. So we are talking about Christie...not Christina. I think Christina was an ok artist; I've seen artwork worse than hers. But this child needs to go back to school, get some skills and some education and again, get a real job. Of course, I doubt she will take that route. I think a another husband is in her immediate future, along with another child. People like this seem to repeat the pattern, and often times, they think marriage and children is an easy way out. An easy way of avoiding making the difficult choices in their own lives that would provide security and personal satisfaction. Happens all the time..to all kinds of young girls. Somehow I think it stems from just how they were raised. I'm glad I wasn't raised that way, nor did I raise my own kids this way.
