ummm Hello there are grants and student loans for college too. If she lived on her own she would qualify for something. It wasn't the college that was important but the money itself. She focuses on money only and that won't help out anyone in the house. If she had wanted to go she would have found a way to do it like I am. It has she just wants things because she thinks she deserves them.

WOW, I don't see things the way you all are at this point! We've only seen her for what? a day and a half!
Iyanla said in confessional she thought Renee is spoiled and use to get her own way. I haven't seen any proof of that being true, yet.
I'd be p'od if anybdy took 20,000 dollars that was set aside for my college fund, too.

Yeah, I'd be angry too if he promised her 20,000 for college and then spent it too. But Momof2 is right, there are plenty of other resources out there if she had really wanted to go, I found that hard to believe today because she said she hung out with friends and didnt apply herself to high school, not many highschoolers with that kind of school experience want to hurry off to college. I'm kinda thinking that she didnt pursue other avenues because then that would be like letting daddy off the hook and it seems that she wants him to stay the bad guy so she can stay the victim. Dont know just guessin
