Not sure if anyone watches Grey's Anatomy out there (but you should if you don't!) but I missed the first half hour of the 2 hour episode! Can anyone tell me what happened to Dr. Burke? Or any other pertinent info that happened in the first half hour?? That was the season finale, right? Why would they put it on during Survivor's finale??? And then put it on when I'm not home!!! Sheesh!

He flew back to the hospital to get ready for a heart transplant surgery.

An unknown "gun man" , in an earlier sub plot, who shot a bunch of people , and is assumed to have arrived at the the hospital to shoot the person he had tried to kill earlier.

The narration , while the gun shots were heard, implied that Burke got in the way of the shooter. There was a theme in the narration --- something to the effect that doing certain things can affect other, innocent people... unintended consequences.

Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! Now, how about that cliff hanger? Finn vs. Dr. Mc Dreamy! Who's it gonna be?? My guess? McDreamy! Why? I heard that Chris O'Donnell was only guest starring for a few episodes..bummer!

I just started watching Grey's Anantomy this summer...from the season opener..I am hooked!!! I love the show, and so does my husband. It will be returning in the fall I trust?

I'm new to the show as well. I love it. It's out on DVD but, I've resisted the urge to rent it and see it all, in light of all the repeats, it's nice to see programs for the first time. Plus, I get to use the commercials for bathroom breaks.

If my memory serves me correctly, I heard that next season reveals that one of the main characters is actually gay. I saw people guessing who it might be on talk show. It's driving me crazy. Who it is? and when will they be revealed?
