While on vacation I noticed that the show was airing pretty regularly on discovery health.. I think TLC and discovery health are connected..(as well as Discovery and few others).. I know that Jon and Kate plus 8 are on both channels..

So the Roloff's aren't off the air. With the show in repeats anyway, it could be that they are just mixing up the schedule to try new shows or new audiences.. I don't have discovery health at home.. Wish I did though!

I have notice the repeats are being aired again. I want new shows though. I am really anxious to see how and if they will handle the DUI arrest. It will be odd if it's just ignored.

Any new developments on this issue?? I was thinking just how sad for his teenage boys who are just driving!! They're sure not stupid and would obviously pick up on that.

Well..........I'm still witholding judgement until and if details are ever known. And it is awful how justice can be bought!

I sure hope that things don't get worse for that family and that the televising didn't end up hurting the kids.

Not surprised think the show should be taken off.

I haven't heard anything new on the case. I'm withholding judgment too. If he was driving DUI, he knows it was wrong. He is a parent and a public figure. He knows the consequences such a thing could cause. Worst case scenerio, someone is killed and even if nobody is hurt, you have set such a poor example for your kids and viewers. I don't know. I guess there is always a chance that the police got it wrong and that he wasn't driving under the influence. I know that they don't always get it right. I would like to believe it was all a mistake.

I don't know if the show has hurt the family or not. It seems to me that the show has allowed the family some basic things that perhaps they wouldn't have had otherwise, such as mom being able to take the year off from working and stay home, dad being able to leave his job for awhile do more family events near home or on family vacations, funds for medical expense or health insurance, new vehicles that help the little people have better access to the trunk area, and perhaps a college fund for the kids....not that Zack and Jeremy would be interested. They don't seem to be the least bit in interested in education. LOL.

I enjoyed the show the first season..(the novelty?) But I think with the shows success it allowed alot of opportunities financially for the family. I think Matt has gone overboard with capitalizing on the show and I very well think that it could be a case that he has exploited his family.. Maybe unintentionally.. But with the dysfunctional family dynamics so apparent and the boys especially tending to be irresponsible and disrespectful.. I just don't know if it's worth it.. (I realize they could have wound up that way anyway!)

Matt seems to have always been the driving force of the show. Maybe it's a case of too much of a good thing and the success has gone to his head!

I've wondered if Matt's parents have not been on the show alot this year because of disapproval about how the show portrays the family or disagreeing with Matt on his priorities.. We definitely saw instances where his father and him clashed..

No clue how the dui thing will turn out.. At least we know he should be able to afford a good attorney!

I just checked the TLC site.. The show has a short clip of season 3 preview..and it pretty much was a slice of how the season ended with them renting one of those huge RV's. I haven't seen any dates about the show's season 3 kick off.

When I see his mug shot from the dui arrest I can't help thinking that he looks amused/happy.. Maybe he thinks it will make good fodder for the show.. We shall see..<br><br>Post edited by: KPW1956, at: 2007/08/20 12:04
