In other words she thought he was faking to a big degree. When Tom heard Oprah said this then he was furious she said about him and hence did not invite her to the wedding.

True or not true--one thing for sure is that he is clearly upset with her about something because to not be invited in their circles certainly stands out.

I heard another discussion about Tom and Katie's prenup..

They do have a prenup...apparently.. and if the marriage lasts 11 years, she gets half of Tom's assets.. They mentioned some other details..but I don't recall them..

I guess it's standard in Hollywood... But I think it's sad...

Just found a link... lots more details... including Katie's dad is actually a divorce attorney.. (or it is implied..maybe just a lawyer..)
Sounds like she is going to be guaranteed a minimum amount.... and then half of his wealth if they split after 11 years..

I did find another detal... I think the 11 year landmark...is dictated by California property laws... That she would automatically be entitled to half.. I guess that would mean a prenup would no longer be valid..

Still sad..that they have to specify any details at all like that..

But it could be that it was at the urging of Katie's parents.. I know they haven't been to keen on Tom..for more than a few reasons..

That about info was quite informative.. Said Tom picked out Katie's wedding dress..also that Katie was regulary accompanied by a scientologist 'chaperone' but she wasn't pressured into converting to Scientology. (Probably Tom's watchdog!)

I just found an msnbc link..(which is probably more reliable) Says that if the marriage immediately broke down.. Tom would or might fight for custody of Suri... Katie at that point wouldn't be able to financially fight Tom....

I hope that is not true... That would be terrible if he did that!
