Awhile ago I made post about my mother's best friend was involved in an auto accident the day before she was to go into the hospital for breast cancer surgery. I tried to locate the thread, but, couldn't. She had her toddler granddaughter in the car and thank God the child was not hurt. My mom's best friend was hurt very badly. They didn't expect her to live. They called in the family and she was in ICU for weeks. She had many broken bones, collapsed lungs, you name it. It didn't look good. This lady was very active despite being in her 70's but suffers with asthma.

She was in the hospital for so long and she was so weak, they couldn't treat her for the breast cancer. My family just could barely stand to think of her lying in the hospital, but, unable to get treatment from this disease that was killing her.

I wrote the post about her and was complaining about how upset I was that such terrible things would happend to this wonderful woman. She is such a great person. I grew up with her daughter as my best friend, so I know how she really is. You guys promised to pray for my mom's friend.

Thank you for all those prays! She recovered quite well and came home from hospital's rehab unit in time for Christmas. She was still very weak and on oxygen. Finally they decided she was strong enough to treat the cancer, but, when they tested to see its progress, it was GONE. There is no sign of cancer and they have no explanation of where it went! We are so happy. This is truly a miracle. Thanks again for your prays.

Debby... Great news.

I started doing a lot of research on cancer and nutrition... and on cancer and positive attitude. I'd like to think that prays, positive energy and possibly change in diet may have starved the cancer. One of the things that I keep reading about is that cancer lives in an acid environment and cannot live in an alkaline one. The foods one eats may make a serious difference. I believe that prays and positive attitude make a difference.

Mazzy, that's an interesting theory. I had not heard that. I think I will do some research myself.
