Maybe you can introduce yourself in the introductions area of the forum. This area is for the occasional rumor about things that might be leaked about upcoming shows or involving the hg's.

Welcome to the community.

There is also a chatroom listed (maybe that's where you thought you were.) I've only chatted there a time or 2.. More often than not it's mostly quiet during the day. You might catch someone in there later in the day!
