Starting Over Talk

Just to let members who belong to both sites know that you may be at risk for being bumped/cancelled out of WCW without notice.

I inadverdantly got tangled up in someone else's disputes... and made a reply regarding the situation on WCW. I really was trying to be a peacemaker..

Within hours, my access to WCW ceased to exist. I used the same member name there as here. So if anyone figures out if I violated anything let me know. My inquiry regarding the issue has gone unanswered. I thought that perhaps there was a remote chance that it was a mistake. I have since found out, another SOT member was also denied access.

I really thought both sites would be united in purpose and promote fairness in discussions and posts.

I realize both administrators have full powers to withdraw anyone's membership at any time.. and I do respect that. But I would also hope that they would be fair in exercising their powers.

I have never before prior to the last 2 days considered these 2 wonderful sites to be in competition with one another. I hope most of the members at both sites don't harbor that notion either. With SO gone, it would be wonderful if we could consider ourselves allies in the quest to bring back SO in some form in the future.

So much for trying to be a peacemaker!

I was automatically "bumped off" WCW website because I didn't post enough. They made a new "rule" that you had to post a minimum number of times which I totally disagree(d) with. Frankly, I don't always feel the need to comment on an issue and sometimes need to just "listen"...ie; read.

Anyway, it's no great loss because this website is WAY better than that one in my opinion. Much less "clutter" on this one.

I think they both have some wonderful members... and great conversations and topics. WCW had some unique features and I really enjoyed reading all of Laura's (the Rev) contributions. I even directed a post to her a few months ago to which she provided a reply.

In my case, I have had posts before and actually had made posts on 3 or 4 separate threads the end of this week so it can't be that I wasn't active. I did get bumped another time but it was supposedly by mistake and the admin did fix it..

It would be hard to reply to stuff just for the sake of replying and meeting some sort of quota.....

I would really like to think that members of both sites would like to be able to coexist..

How juvenile and controlling of "peachy", though it does not surprise me.. Peachy has a hidden agenda...does this not make her agenda clear?

Maybe I'm slow.. what would that agenda be?

That "agenda" would be..."Agree with Peachy and "NOT belong to another site " or YOU Are OUT"...quite obviouse!
