Don't know how often this is checked, but here it goes. A few of us were on chat, trying to figure it all out. Can you help? Maybe all the adminstrators should give it a try, and let us know. There is a "to" box. Is that for just private messages, not the whole chat? What if you leave it blank(black on my screen), can others see the message? What if you type "all" (that's blue on my screen), should everyone be able to see it? When someone responds, it is in red(on my screen). We have already determined the colors are switched on the other's screen ( your own words are blue on your own screen).

Am I making this too complicated? Should I even care? I'm just curious, and when I'm curious, I like to find answers. What is with the names on the side in orange? One time it was just me, then my name and someone else, then my name and another, then all three, then just me, but we were all on, I believe. Does everyone get a different color when they post? We saw black, blue, and red. The person in black couldn't see us, but we could see them. Is there a limit to how many can be on chat at once?

And the to... this is who you are writing to, yes? How do you determine from? Does my name appear on someone else's screen? We will probably figure this all out on our own, but I thought if there was any insight you had, it would speed up the knowledge just a bit.

You said it like it is...in other words...how does this Chat Room work? We can't make use of it if we don't understand it! Right On!

I believe if you want to chat to the whole room all you need to do it is leave the "to" field blank.

I just upgraded the chat software. It should be a little easier to use now and it also has a help link.

You may have done your part Tara on "Upgrading" or whatever but there are Four of us trying to use it and can't get the hang of it! It changes; tonight there were Members names in a list then I typed a cvouple messages, then the Members Names were gone!

Also, the 'board' where the messages show up are up high & the place to type in the messages to send is down low??!! It doesn't make it seem like a Chat Room where you just want to get the message out & continue talking to all/others. Do you know what I mean??
