You know, I really think it's possible that Sommer just realized she was the one at fault and might finally be owning up to it.
I think if she was breaking rules, what she really was upset about was being caught. Also, as someone who used to sneak around and tell "white lies", I really think I expected people to stick with me through all of it. It took a lot of harsh reality checks for me to learn to drop all that.

I have hoped Sommer would just see the light and realize the chance she had. It takes a lot more the "making yor bed and laying in it" to break a bad habit like that.

I do think Sommer needed to own up to her stuff.
I also think SO has been hypocritical with the game-playing as to who has to abide by rules and who doesn't.

But Sommer will be the stronger one for it to own up to her part even if SO never does acknowledge theirs! Kind of like the old "two wrongs don't make a right" saying.

Wonder if anyone has any new info re the finale.

They won't tell anyone if the show is going to be cancelled, just like they didn't tell anyone they were going to discontinue the message boards last season. And they knew around January then. They did minimal moderating to avoid suits, and getting into probs with Gov't.

If they tell people they are cancelled, lots will stop watching, ratings will drop, sponsors will pull out.

If they had been renewed, and they'd know that by now, they'd be shouting it from the roof tops.

^I dont know about that...as far as shouting from the rooftops that they would be renewed. I have been watching this show from the beginning and they have never shouted from the rooftop, advertised, mentioned on the show, etc that they were renewed. They just come back every year. I hope it comes back, I will be pissed if it doesn't.

I mean I can see them getting rid of the MB cause they were down right nasty!

I read other boards that deal with tv shows. The "experts" that write those columns say that the producers have until mid-May to say if the shows will be renewed or not.
"They" don't usually say anything about shows on the bubble for renewing because they don't want to cut viewership. It can also boost ratings if viewers think they favorite shows might be cancelled.
More than likely we will not hear anything about the show until then.
