Starting Over Talk - Peer Coaching Support Site

As somebody who has exeperience as a community adminstrator for several yearsI really do understand why many people choose to have "closed" community sites. Running a community sites does take a lot of time and energy and no matter which way it's chosen to be run there will be some members who do not like the rules or the ways it's run.

From my past experiences running other large communities sites I have learned that it's very important for rules to be set up and enforced. Like those of you who do not like the idea of a closed board there are many here who don't like the rules at SOT of they way I have chosen to enforce them.

You can't please all of the people all of the time...

Sweetpeach, I apologize, I was putting a bunch of boards together that may not have belonged together. I was also thinking of the old SYR board that split like 3 or 4 different ways. Which was suppose to be my point that there are a gazillion SO boards out there. There is even one that is tied in to politics. So what I was trying to say was there is a board for everyone.

I guess I also was thinking about a recent scene over at the "uglification station" as I hear it called.

But I am sorry I did re-read what i posted and it did come off that you were starting wcw out of spite and that is not true. Please forgive my misstep.
