Starting Over Talk

That is just plain sad. They never promoted enough to get the audience they needed. I came across it by accident one day on TLC. I had no idea there was even a show called Starting Over. I wish Dr. Stan and Rhonda could find the backing for another show with a little better premise. I loved the couples. New Beginnings would be a great name. I am thinking of submitting an idea I have for such a show. It's in the brain, not on paper yet.

I too am going to be very disappointed if the show is
cancelled. I just love the show! The show has given
me lots of pointers too. I even take notes.
There are soooo many people who can benefit from
watching Starting Over. The life coaches are just
absoloutely wonderful!! I love them all. I even miss
one of the first life coaches, I think her name was Randa.?
I'm not sure if that's the right name. Please Please if
there's anyway we can get this show to continue, Someone

Antonia is young. It is different when you have been doing the same thing for 15, 20, 30 years. It harder to change at age 35 or 40 it is so many years of a certain behavior being _embed_ded in your very soul. However, when you are young like Antonia, hey, I have seen it! They are ready; once they get it, they are so ready to move on to something better. She will have her moments but she will be okay. She has a lot of passion and she stayed true to whom she is.

I agree. I never saw SO promoted and also discovered it quite by accident. Even then, it took a few inadvertent viewings to really take notice. if it had been promoted and the overall premise been advertised, along with some of the women's stories, I would have tuned in earlier and consistently. I think that kind of promotion would have generated a lot more viewers. It's a Catch-22, in that without a lot of viewers, advertisers don't buy as much time or the show doesn't generate high advertising dollars, and then the less advertising there is, the fewer the viewers who know about the show. I wish there had been more of an investment in the show, to build out the viewership and revenue and keep the show going.
