I don't think I could be on the show. I have two kids at home and am about to have another in a matter of days. I don't think the effect of me being gone would be good timing right now. So I never applied, never auditioned.

I have forgotten how brutal the message boards can be. I was on the old SO boards forever before they were removed. Some people really love to jump down your throat if you disagree with them. I mean everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I respect everyones opinions wether I agree or not.

As for Cassie, or any other starting over graduate, such as Josie, I don't see why they should be brought back. They did graduate, I thought that was the end of story. I will watch her, I just am not excited about them bringing another oldie back.

I agree. I always loved Cassie. Sure, she could be a bit whiney sometimes, but look at all of the obstacles this woman faced. She never lost her courage and went through hell, attempting to locate her son and obtaining her GED, all while living day to day as an alcoholic.

And did you see Cassie's mother when she came to visit at the house??!! She was clueless. It was so bad that the life couches and Dr. Stan admitted, there was nothing that could be done with Cassie's mother.

I haven't seen today's show yet. Can't wait to see what has happened to Cassie.

I am sure this will not be a popular opinion but I think Cassie needs to drop this obsession with her son. She just can not accept that this young man may not want to see her.

Her rationale is that she does not believe the kid knows she wants to meet him. She got a letter from the kid and the adoptive mother last year asking that she leave them alone, and she says she thinks its a fake.

She has had contact with the adoptive father and stepmother. Don't you think they would have mentioned to the kid that Cassie was looking for him?

I think when she says that she is not doing this for herself, but for the son, she is fooling herself. She has put feelers out and now she needs to just wait and see if he comes to her.

I think it should TOTALLY be up to the child if they want to search for their birth parents.

JMO--JMO--JMO!!!!

I do believe that some of us can relate to Cassie and some viewers want to know more about her story and where things ended up.

I for one would like to know how some of the past "quest" are doing--and if they progressed after the show. Some have been arrested--some have come back to relate with some of the other women--and some come back to do make overs!!

Cassie can be a big help to Christie. As well as some of the other women. Maybe she will pull them together--we will just have to wait and see.

We can't like everyone all the time---if we did we would have that thing called "World Peace"!!!

I too...dont' care for Miss Cassie. I quit watching SO2 when she was on and mute this season when she is on. I have NO pity for her and feel she should respect the adoptive mothers wishes and leave the child ALONE that she gave up for her vices. Cassie made her bed...now she should sleep in it, grow up and get on with her life. I am sure there are plenty other women out there who could use the SOH better that Ms Cassie

Um, yeah, I can see why you wouldn't audition, especially at this time!
Best wishes, BTW, on the new arrival!

I think they are bringing in some of the past HGs, because they aren't sure if they're getting picked up again for another season. And at this time, it would be sort of fruitless for them to start someone totally new, until they knew they could have them continue.

(How did they handle this in the past? I didn't catch the ending of either season 1 or 2.)

However, in my mind, at least, I'd hate to be on the show for the last few weeks and then have to come back to the show to finish..........too weird. (Similar to lisa coming back to graduate. )

Cheers,
MaryBeth
