I think any of the housemates could be a lifecoach, except deborah,tess.

I believe that being a Life Coach is much more than just having gone through the SO house. It is a very specific Skill Set along with Successful Life Experience in the areas that one would choose to specialize in. Life Coaching, like any other profession where one is assuming responsibility for the well being of other's, requires extensive training.

I would encourage those that choose to "make assumptions" regarding what Coaching Is, to do some research. To learn more than just what they saw on SO. There is way more to it than what was shown on this TV show.

Working with a life coach or therapist is something you have to be ready for i will never be ready to get that intense, it would have to be someone like Rhonda or the housemates.

Life Coaching is not as intense as it was shown to be on Starting Over. It's a lot more a partnship too. They way it was portrayed on Starting Over gave the idea that the Life Coach was the on with all the control. That is not the case with actaul Life Coaching.

Great point, Tara. It is of great concern that many people that could benefit greatly from Coaching or Therapy have actually been scared off by watching this TV Show. SO was a dramatization. Though many of us might have enjoyed SO, we must remember that SO is television. It's primary goal was viewership, ratings and making money. Nothing wrong with that, but it is what it is. SO was not, Coaching or Therapy by proxy, it was entertainment.
