It's not in production. It's not slated to return... Bunim Murray is pursuing other projects.

The website has been neglected most of this season...

This show was never officially cancelled by NBC or the studios but it seemed the production people didn't want to continue it.

If you don't already know... The women who was the brains behind the show in the first place, died about 19 months ago. SO2 was noticably different with more drama and I think SO3 went down the same path.

I think B/M wants more drama and action and conflict based on their newest project "Bad Girls".

If they had believed in the SO show, they could have shopped it around to different markets.

KPW, I think you covered just about everything, except I find it interesting that NBC still has the Starting Over hotline number open as of today. I tried to leave a message but it wouldn't let me.
I tried to get transferred to the backup extension but that was busy.

I'm going to try again tomorrow to see why they still have it open, just out curiosity to see what they have to say.

More and more I realize why I like SO so much. I really have learned a lot from it.

I was in a class recently and had to work with a group. Rather than be my usual know-it-all bossy self, I held back and used the other group members ideas and let THEM do it their way. What a concept. It wasn't easy for me to play a support role instead of being the leader but it felt like the right thing to do.

I know I "learned" that I needed to do that from watching SO. I think I'm a bit of a TJ..always having to be the boss...and it was alarming to me how much of an effort it was to take a back seat.

Hey, I think we should contact Oprah/Harpo studios...when I first watched the show I thought it WAS an Oprah creation since it was filmed in Chicago.

Don't you think sh'ed be interested in the show? Especially with the numbers of people who leave stuff on these boards.
