This question may be "moot" if the show is really over but, have
read that Iyanla will not return....but have not heard her reasons.
Has that been posted anywhere? Think she could be persuaded by
"flooding" her phone lines? I'd give it a try, if there was any hope
at all. Anyone have "details?"

From the posts I have read, it seems that Iyanla's leaving has been awhile in coming. Some speculated that she grew disenchanted with the direction of the show. I don't know how much control the LCs have over the storyline, but that could be part of it.

It was also mentioned that the travel between the east and west coast was quite a burden on her. It is my understanding that her main practice and family are located in Maryland.

I think that she probably gave the matter much thought. She knows what that show means to many people. If it is something she really felt strongly about, she would have stayed and fought to keep the show on the air, IMO.

After re-reading the post above, it appeared that I was blaming Iyanla in some way. That is not what I meant. I meant that Iyanla must have given serious thought about SO and decided it was time for her to move on. We have no way of knowing what negotiations went on behind closed doors.

No, didn't see any "blaming" in your post at all...makes perfect
sense to me that she might have become disenchanted with the
show"s "new look." I have too, although I am still watching!!
I suppose she might be too diplomatic to say anything against it,
was just hoping for some direct quote...thought for sure she
would have been asked why...in some forum or other.
