Another thing.....some people are uncomfortable flying in commercial planes.....but still fly.They would never think of flying in a little plane like Megg did.
So I say congrats even more to Megg for getting in tight quarters cause you do feel the turbulance way more!!

I felt you were an adventure gal so I was surprised when I say the word never! I can see you flying soaring in the skys and loving every second of the trip! Guess not all of my brain cells were up the same time my body was.....
I also have to correct my statement of going for a flight in a plane like what Megg was in.
My first time was in a plane like the one she just sat in with Dr. Stan. NOT the sharp one she flew in.

I know for a lot of people it would be hard to fly in any size plane. The size of the plane makes a big difference for a first flight.
Way to go Megg for you to go on to a small spaced plane and still come off smiling

My dad flew a plane much like the one Dr. Stan took Megg on. He flew the "jumpers". We'd spend a day and evening on the ground looking up and watching all those parachutes come back down to us. We had a couple fatalities, but for the most part, it was an amazing part of my childhood. I must admit though that I was terrified of being in that plane. He took me up a few times, but the feeling in my tummy was awful. However, whenever someone has mentioned vacationing somewhere where we had to go by plane, I've passed. It was tough enough in a plane flown by my father who I trusted with my safety...could you imagine a much bigger plane flown by someone I didn't know? No thank you...rather drive. LOL So obviously, I've got great respect for Megg's ability to surpass this.

I can understand fear and Horray to Megg for what shes accomplished. Shes a strong woman. I would jump on a plane and go anywhere no Fear here, Hubby refuses never has and never will.

When you are from a state like North Dakota...honestly no one travels alot unless it is spring break or you go south for the winter (and are retired....got a long ways to go). I have only been in a plane once....and i was exhausted and slept the whole time....so i dont remember any of it. Although I have been in a helicopter in the Black Hills that fly up to Mount Rushmore...i was right by Lincoln's nose....pretty special eh? All my friends are aviation majors....and SAY they will let me fly and take me.....I think THEY are all CHICKEN!!!
