Allison had cancer... pre-cancerous genes made her get masectomy... Iyanla did favor her also.

Just wanted to make sure you had the facts straight. Or as I remember them..

Allison had breast cancer and a mastectomy. (maybe both?) She also had to go through chemotherapy. She arrived at the SO2 house for the first time shortly after finishing her treatment.. Her hair was just growing back in and was very white if I recall correctly or at least salt and pepper..) She had a makeover and had it dyed red later that season.

During the 2nd season they also did a gene test to see if she would have a higher chance of recurrence and it was determined that she did have the specific markers that put her in a high risk category of getting additional female type cancers..

She had to make the decision whether to have a complete hysterectomy which shut down her chances of having children.

I know she had quite alot of extensive surgery in between the seasons..(2 and 3) I think they may have removed her other breast and done reconstruction for her breasts (I think it was the flap type..).. at the same time they did the total hysterectomy. I remember her talking about having been cut from one side to the other..

I remember that she was still dealing with some infection when she came into the house at the top of season 3.
