Did anyone notice the voice on the Sears commercials during the holidays? The voice sounded just like Allison. It was a series of commercials for gift cards. Did anyone else think of her too?

I didn't catch it.. or notice it. Maybe it was the same person who did the Venus commercials. I don't think it was Allison though.

Personally, I think alot of the commercial 'voices' sound alike.. Sort of like radio....

I didn't notice. but, I was so crazy during the holidays, it's no surprise that I was not paying close attention to the tv.
I think Allison has a nice speaking voice though and could do voice work.

Do any of you think she has a strong southern accent? It's difficult for me to tell because I do have a southern accent. It's not very strong because I try to watch myself, but, it is hard to completely erase it. I have worked in the office with Northerners and people from the West Coast for many years. So, I think their accent has influenced me.

It is my understanding that Allison was born and grew up in North Carolina in addition to Christina. I thought her southern accent was rather slight as well. Now, Bethany....she has what even southerns consider a very strong accent. Not many people in my part of the state have that type of accent. I think it is local to her area.

I saw the commerical, but I couldn't swear it was Alleys. There are so many things they can do to change your voice, or do voice overs. Funny, we see in the credits who runs the lights, runs the cameras and everything else, but we never see any credits for the commericals!! Oh well, we wouldn't pay any attention anyway, I know I sure don't!!
