Starting Over Talk - Peer Coaching Support Site

I know someone had mentioned this... that tvone didn't have SO on their schedule beyond a certain date. I just happened to check their site and sadly the last SO episode currently on their schedule is tomorrows. Beyond that I don't see anything regarding SO. The schedule only shows the next 2 weeks however.

I wonder if B/M had reserved all rights to the show and are effectively pulling all the plugs simultaneously.

My own cable schedule shows my local affiliate airing the couples reruns through next week.

My daughter is watching the couples reruns... she never saw the original showing. She is enjoying it.

I'm hoping they show season one... I never saw it.

I find Starting Over spoiled me... I don't seem to have patience for Dr. Phil's show format... it seems so flat next to the Strting Over format. Oh well.

This past season, Dr Phil's shows seemed to be stuck on several themes, clueless parents with the same discipline issues, combative couples, meddling inlaws, and moochers. Season 2 was my favorite, with the weight loss shows and the two "Dr Phil Families." Maybe adding the "Dr Phil House" will inject some new life into Season 5.

Sadly it looks like TV One is no longer showing SO re-runs. I am watching it as we speak and in it's normal time slot for AZ time is B. With Style.


If I'm not mistaken TLC showed re-runs some time back... so hopefully if were lucky they will pick it up once again.

Very sad. I discovered SO by watching the 7:00 a.m TV1 timeslot, which is the Season 2 (right?) re-runs. Then I watch the current season at 11:00 on NBC. My husband started watching the 7 a.m. show with me, too, and we would then spend an hour of post-show counseling together, something we seriously need.

This morning, I was shocked and saddened when the show didn't come on. And confused. It took some searching to figure out what was going on, and to learn that the show was being canceled. I hadn't even heard the rumor (because I wasn't involved with a chat line, etc.) In fact, I sent in an audition tape not long ago!

I'm so devastated, I can't express it. I'll do whatever I can to help keep the show on the air. I've already emailed as many people in my address book as I can, forwarding the petition link, asking them to sign it and forward it to their contacts, and then I re-emailed them with NBC's WORKING phone number, which I've called twice, mentioning the petition (which now has nearly 9000 signatures, btw).

We can do it, but it's going to take A LOT of press exposure, folks. We need POSITIVE PRESS. If you have the means, make it happen.

Someone said on another thread... that the reruns resume after a week..

I hope for those who have TVone and are midway through season 2..that that is true!

The website schedule isn't reflecting that though..

Hopefully it's a goof.

Keep a check of the schedule and email them to inquire. Maybe they'll rethink it if they get enough inquiries.

I've already let it be known to my own cable provider that I would love for them to include tvone in their lineup.
