hi everyone.. im new to this site, but i am a huge fan of starting over~~ and i just read what was posted about possibly not having a season 4.. hope its not true, i was also planning to go to a casting call on Oct. 22@the Raddison hotel in baltimore md. i live in Glen burnie only 15mins from there. if anyone knows more about this PLEASE get back to me when u can.

I don't know what casting call you are referring to. Maybe it's for something different.

Bunim Murray has a different show they've been casting for... A show called Bad Girls with a vaguely similar format in that the women live in a house together and all have issues.. Not sure if life coaching is involved. Sounded more like a new version of a reality show... in which the more drama the better and the heck with helping the ladies.. But maybe the show will be a pleasant surprise and it really will be seeking to help the women rather than exploit them.

According to the original SO site.. All the casting calls that were scheduled last spring were cancelled..

Here is the link to the show's website. Looks like B/M is accepting video's...But it could be that even that just hasn't been updated. Or maybe they are referring the tapes to other shows. Sort of like how Antonia wound up on SO...(supposedly)... She really wanted to be on the Real World and had applied to that. I don't even think she knew what SO was... Isn't that neat that she seemed to be radically affected by the turn of events. I'm sure the talk shows are always looking for unique stories and issues.

The show's website has barely been touched this past year. They do have the current episodes being reflected by not the whose in the house section or where are they now.

I think the show wrapped up last January when taping finished. The last original episode was shown in May and it's been confirmed by Rhonda that there is no current production going on..and she is effectively not under contract with Bunim Murray..

So great likelihood that SO as we knew it is over!

Most of the info is about the Real World show.. It does have a segment regarding 'Bad Girls'...and if anyone takes the time to read it...It sounds much like SO minus coaches.. But I am sure they are more interested in the fireworks. I'll be interested in watching it just to compare it..

Today I caught the couples show. On the bottom of the screen there was a tele-type stating that the Produces of Starting Over have cancelled the next season and the final show will be on Sept 15. Then it said something about watching the new Rachel Ray show.
This is on NBC here in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

I think we already knew when they aired the last show with the race that that was it.
We kept up the hope......but hope was lost.
