Pay attention, we're not talking about "begging" those producers anymore that's a done deal. They already did what they wanted. BM is into a different type of programming, who cares if they don't want it? The're not all powerful, their just one network that's been havong problems with quality programming.

We're getting the word out and getting the show shopped around in other network markets where maybe the new producers will do a little better job, anyway. Letting our voice be heard is the American way, our God-given right and privilege we have as Americans in a free country. That's how our system always works - of the people, by the people, for the people ring any bells? Trust me those calls and petition were not wasted, (wasted on Bowel Movement perhaps LoL) it's proof of how many viewers there are. Although it represents just a percentage of all the viewers of course, and network execs know that.

What about ownership of the concept? Does that belong to B-M?
AND did you know B-M has shopped the concept to the OXYGEN network? They have re-worked it (only allowing 18-24 yr olds to apply) and they changed the title to "Bad Girls" . Read how they describe the concept on their website...other than a few tweaks it's "Starting Over". It will be on the OXYGEN network at a time in the near future.

But I do like the idea of LIFETIME creating a show like SO.
Major problem with that idea though.
They make TV movies. They have zip experience making reality TV shows.

Yeah, I guess I knew it since this is right out of my post that you are replying to-"I know Oxygen is casting for a new show 'Bad Girls' but it won't replace SO. It's not the same, SO is a show we can really relate to because it's about average everyday women, of all ages, it's positive and we can learn from and get helped by it, not just another show for entertainment." The concept is similar but that doesn't mean Bunim Murray shopped it around and it's definitely not the same!

Why are people creating new sites when there are already site like Starting Over Talk.
