Just for the sake of discussion, only, and I am in no way excusing the behavior of our Dr. McDreamy, but if you look at the blog from the writer/creator of GA on "Grey Matters" she explains that one of the reasons she chose to go to flashbacks on the season opener was to REMIND folks that it was Addison who first cheated on DMD and with his BEST FRIEND, which he caught in the action! She wants to remind us that the situation almost destroyed him and by the time we are introduced to the character, (meeting Meredith in a bar, who also has her "issues&quot he is in a very sad, vulnerable place. It is later that Addison follows him to Seattle so I think she (the writer) wanted us to suspend judgement and try to understand where the character was coming from before all this confusion of Addison returning happened. Does that make sense?
If not, read it in her words on her blog - it's very interesting to hear all the symbolism and dimension of these characters!

That being said... why doesn't Dr. McDreamy just leave his wife, and put everyone out of their misery?

I'll answer my own question... sexual tension! What's a show without a little sexual tension? LOL Forget morals... sexual tension is needed for the ratings. LOL

Oh well... that show biz... not real life. LOL

I don't think it's morals that turn me off to McDreamy. Yes, he should have mentioned he was married, but separated to Meredith before his wife had the chance to annouce it herself. That would tick me off, but, it's more than that. He doesn't seem to have any balls about him. He comes off as a whiny little boy. George has much more courage than he does.

As I stated before, I like his wife better than him. Yes, she screwed up, but, she's got some spunk about her and fights for what she wants. McDreamy just follows anyone around at the moment with no real direction. The tone of his voice turns me off too.

When he tells Meredith that she has a choice to make...that is so crazy. How does a single woman, choose yes for a married man who is living with his wife? That is not an option.

I think the show needs to move on for sexual chemistry. McDreamy is McOver for me.

Yeah... yeah... agreed, but I'm hooked so it's not McOver for me. LOL

Looks like McDreamy is back in Meredith's affections... LOL... held my breath at the end of the show... was afraid she was going to drop him... it would have served him right, but somehow I love the on screen chemistry they create... so I'm glad Meredith caved... LOL

Meredith and McDreamy bore me to tears. Let them go off together and off the screen. The other characters storylines are much better IMO. Sorry I can't recall all the names but, I love Sandra Oh and her boyfriend's situation. I also like the one with George and his so called girlfriend. She's funny. I also like McDreamy's wife. She is a much better actor than Meredith IMO. She has taken the lead character role from Meredith I think. Meredith's character at first was portrayed as a bright promising surgeon. Now she always acts like an immature 12 year old.

I'm sick of the Izzy storyline. The fact they are allowing her to continue to work in that hospital is unbelieveable. She annoys me to death. THe entire story about the patient she fell for was ridiculous. I got so disturbed during the episode she had this large sum of money and wouldn't deposit it in the bank that I changed the channel. I don't know or care what happened to that crazy storyline. I just wish her character would go away.

I find the new plastic surgeon (McSteamy) to be more to my taste. He is hunky and sexy, much better than McDreamy to me.

Who is the child of the Chief Surgeon?Last night did you notice how odd he acted when that guy asked him if he had any kids? You can guess who I think it is. I'm not sure if I should post the name here since it could be considered a spoiler....not that I know this but it's just a suspicion. What do you think?
