Sad and true............but I think it really was so unnecessary. He had great ratings and an authentic appeal to a cross-section of viewers. Oh well...............not many can remain true to their roots and who they are with the fame and fortune, can they?
Yes, he must know this. How can he maintain his self respect? Maybe he has too many yes men around him.
He is soooo proud of his crew. He praises them all the time, but really who are they? The few that I have seen the crew made me wonder if they are high school or college interns....not that there is anything wrong with that, but he makes it sound a certain way that just makes me wonder, especially after seeing that director standing in the alley way behind the studio frantically calling 911. She was there with a wife whose husband had just left the studio in a car bound for rehab and jumped out of the car. Professionals thought he could be a danger to her. You really had to see it, but it turned me off.
What was so funny is that when they left the drama in the alley, they took the wife into Dr. Phil's office and he sat there calmly as if he was bored and told Wife that she had to stop letting her husband push her buttons and she needed to just calm down. I know, UNBELIEVEABLE. His own crew has just created that scene. Go Figure.
He must know viewers are turned off by this junk. How could he not know? People post their objections on his message board all the time.

Post edited by: Debby, at: 2007/06/07 12:49
