I'm not a Nancy Grace fan.. She comes across as very overbearing and I don't think that would make for a good cohost on a panel format like The View.

I agree, but on her call-in show, everybody always says first thing that they love her show. Most every caller says it. I admit that she can be bull headed and just plain rude on her show, but I think her personality works for that kind of program...not The View.
I do think her own show would be much more respected if she could get a little more even handed. The members on the message boards do not like her at all.

Usually in law school students are given cases to argue. Sometimes you get to prosecute and other times you get to defend. The goal is to learn to do both. I don't think Nancy can. I know that her finance was robbed and murdered and that has totally messed her up emotionally, but still. Did that happen before or after she went to law school?

It was before. He was shot by a co-worker and not a random robbery/ killing and there was no long trial.. the co-worker confessed and plead guilty. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nancy_grace

I know some people call her a "professional victim" because she can't step out of the anger.

Everytime I listened to her I get the feeling that she doesn't believe in innocent until proven guilty and she "KNOWS" the person's guilt on little to no evidence... and has ended up wrong.

As far as people loving her..... There are people out there that LOVE Jerry Springer and can't wait to hear about the love triangles and fist fights.

LOL. I guess you're right. I didn't realize he was murdered by someone who knew him. I always got the impression that he was killed by a stranger and robbed. Anyway, I can see that her rage has eaten her up inside. I wouldn't want to be caught with her alone if I were a criminal. I'd be scared she would beat the fire out of me. LOL. I wonder if she carries a weapon.

I wouldn't like to see Nancy Grace as a host on The View.

My heart goes out to her because of the tragic death of the man she loved, however, as a lawyer it's surprising that she is unable to put aside emotion. I agree that she doesn't exhibit belief in innocence until proven guilty, and is just too opinionated.

It's going to be interesting to see who The View chooses.

The View has become so outrageous that I don't who they could get to keep the flames lit. It will be hard to keep the heat as hot as Rosie has kept it. I don't think Rosie will actually make in until the end of her contract. I fear she will say she can't bear to debate Elisabeth while she is pregnant, but on the other hand can't control her temper, so she must go.

Today the show was preempted by George Bush's speech. I guess they filmed the show anyway.
