Roseanne Barr used to really be obnoxious, but, I have seen her on several shows recently and I think she has changed a lot. I think becoming a grandmother has mellowed her out a lot. She was down to earth and appeared very sincere with her opinions. She also seemed to be well read and she didn't push her opinion over other people on the show. It really was a new and improved Roseanne.

Please not, Robing McGraw. She gets on my last nerve. You think Rosie is a know it all...Robin is worse IMO.
Besides, Dr. Phil is taped in LA, and The View in NY, so, Dr. Phil would have to move his show.

I don't think Valeria Bertinelli would make a good lead host. I think she's too shy. Funny story...Did you see Valeria on Rachel Rhey? She was talking about her venture with Jenny Craig and how she loved their snack food. A bowl of the snack food was on a table in front of the two of them. As Rachel interviewed Valeria, Valeria kept munching on those snacks. Even when she was not eating the snack food she kept looking down at it like she couldn't take her eyes off of it. It made me nervous for her. It was very distracting and I know Rachel wishes that they had not had that food there.

I thought I heard the possibities were Whoopie, (who I think could work out) or Kathi Lee Gifford, (who I also like but the commentator mentioned that it couldn't happen because "most women don't like her&quot.

How about Whoopie AND Valerie Bertinelli, (Whoopie as the leader, and Val to replace the open position)?

Oh, forgot to mention that I, too, was impressed with Roseanne Barr the last time I heard her but I'm afraid if you give her a soap box eventually she will turn into another Rosie and they certainly don't need THAT!

Cybil Shepherd as another possibility? It would sure mix it up.

I would prefer Whoopie over Roseanne. I'm not sure what I think about Cybil Shepard. I have always loved Kathie Lee, but there are many people who don't like her. I'm not sure why. I don't think they would take a chance on her.
I thought Kathie Lee was great on Regis and Kathie Lee. I have never adjusted to Kelly, even though she has sort of grown on me over the years.

I don't think they would be interested, but, Suzanne Sommers and Marie Osmond would be great I think. They both have interesting backgrounds and are both very outspoken. I don't know how politically minded they are, but, they are both really funny to me. I actually laugh out loud every time I watch them on QVC. They don't mind laughing at themselves. It makes for an amusing program.

I would love for it to be Whoopie,she is very funny,smart ,and a woman of color! I also like Goldie Hawn. The list could go on for ever lol. I would also like someone Heather Locklear or Marlo Thomas.........
