I frankly think they should stay away from politics and stick to lighter issues for this show. None of them seem to be very astute to the facts of issues, only very opinionated.

The "hot topics" should stick to celebrities and general "gossip" type material which they are more able to comment on.

I agree with you! I also like hot topics that involve issues regarding kids, today's society... new trends... parenting topics and the like.

I don't like getting into political battles and I sure don't like listening to them..

I found it interesting to hear what this group of women thought politically... I was raised not to discuss religion or politics in public... I guess because everyone has their own opinion, and their own beliefs, and they may become too heated to discuss.

I found this discussion refreshing... as it was honest... whether I agreed with the speakers or not. I personally get tired or bored with the "fluff" topics.

I love it when they discuss politics. Elisabeth is their token Republican and she really must represent the conservative position. I feel kind of sorry for her lately, not that she's out numbered, but that it is becoming almost impossible to support the administration's actions or lack thereof. When the party's own people start objecting publically, that's really sad. I'm sure she must privately have some concern about this but the View wants different views, so she would need to go if she converted to the other panels way of thinking.

I am definintely voing to extend hot topics.

Did you see Rod Steward yesteday. What a hottie!!!! He's still got it, IMO.

Me too.....................about the hot topics that is. I enjoy the deeper discussions and I LOVE the fact that we can show how, as women, we can agree and disagree and argue and have different belief systems and STILL enjoy each others' friendships and always be there for each other!! To me, it's a very healthy example!!!!!!


Me too.........also about Rod Stewart!!! He's a bit older now, for sure!!! But I loved him when my aunt listened to him when I was a kid!!!! And I love him now!!!

Suzzane Sommers was on the View today... she didn't look well to me... I hope her cancer is not coming back.
