I just noticed today when watching the view that the couch IS facing the camera, with the audience in the background. On a few occasions, Rosie actually turned around to talk to the audience. It was really akward looking. She even made a comment to the guest, (who was a Broadway performer) that this set up "goes against all they're used to doing" or something to that effect, meaning not to face the audience goes against a performer's grain.

I just thought it was really strange and I hope it's only a temporary situation because of the segment attached to it.

Rosie used to bug me and I thought I wouldn't watch the show anymore but she is really doing a great job, I think.

I know!!!!!!!! I thought it was hilarious that Rosie said something about it not being a pretty camera angle when they had to turn around and talk to the audience!! I also hope it was just because they had the Broadway performance piece! Which I loved!!!

I am taping the show and watching at night. I love it. I think Rosie had brought that show to life. Even Elisabeth is acting better. She seems to have calmed down quite a bit. The show is now funny and entertaining. I really like it more than ever....really.
The give-a-ways to the audience everday is a hit! I expect the ratings to go way up. Everybody expresses their opinion and nobody gets mad or ticked off at the other. It's great IMO.

Yeah, much as I hate to admit it, Rosie really has brought this show back to life with her upbeat, funny, (without insulting people like Joy has a tendency to do) and overall just plain good natured personality is really a breath of fresh air for that show. I loved how she beat up on that guest from Big Brother, (I don't watch the show but they provided a clip so you could get the gist of it) and she really stuck to her guns without kissing a--! I was impressed with her. I guess she's going to win me over.

The View!! I have loved that show ever since the beginning, watching the "young ones" come and go. Sure wish this survivor, Elisabeth would go, but hey, she is a "survivor" ya know!!

Rosie is like ying to Barbara's yang! They are great friends and it shows through on the show. They are great together. I hated to see Meridth leave, but she has moved on up, I guess. Look for The View to win lots of awards this year!!
