It's on at 4:00 opposite of Oprah. (Channel 20 in D.C. market which includes Northern Va. and Suburban Md.) (Oprah's on channel 7)

Dr. Phil comes on at 3:00... But all 3 are on different channels..

Not sure how well he'll fare up against Oprah though...

But I'm interested in seeing more than the short preview I saw the other day.

I missed the show I think it's on at noon here. It looks really interesting though.

Ooooooooooooooooops!!! It was on at 10 a.m. and I thought it was on at 4!!! Oh well..................I'll set the tivo to catch it tomorrow a.m.

The main focus of the show was about a young couple whose lives were turned upside down by his deployment to Afghanistan.. Actually I think he had gotten deployed twice. He came back a different man... and they were trying to deal with the issue. Seems he had a classic case of PTSD.. (post traumatic stress disorder)... Dr. A... offered to find them a reputable therapist within the VA network..(so I don't know if he was actually picking up the tab...)

I think the couple had a great chance of mending the relationship once the issue was addressed properly. Seems he refused counseling earlier because he didn't want to talk about it.. But Dr. A...says that is exactly what he does need to do..

Anyway, wasn't too earth shattering different.

I should have added.. Later in the show Dr. A... talked to an NYC firefighter about dealing with PTSD post 9/11. That segment might have been 10 minutes or so.

Maybe they deliberately tied the PTSD topic into 9/11 and had the shows debut on the same day.

It was important info.. as I am sure many families have had to deal with this to one degree or another.
