Apparently TMZ was way off base on a number of them... (which I think is a good thing... TMZ pushes itself as being an inside authority on things..)

Among some surprises is Jane Seymour and Marie Osmond will be on the cast. Other names that I recognized (because of my age I suppose! ) was Wayne Newton.. My gosh has that guy had alot of plastic surgery.

I think the new season debuts around the 24th or 27th of Sept.

My favorites before I see them dance are Wayne Newton, (?)Mathison from All My Children and of course, Marie Osmond. I can't believe Marie is doing this. I mean she is definitely not the 105 pound girl who danced and ice skated on the Donny &amp; Marie show in the 70's. LOL.

I bet she is doing this in order to lose weight. She is always bringing up her weight issues. Every contestant who does that show says they drop the weight like crazy because you are dancing so many hours per day in practice. I hope she knows what she got herself into. It makes my feet hurt just thinking about it.

It's funny Jane Seymore is also on there. I have heard Donny Osmond say many times that when he was a teenager, Jane Seymore was his dream girl and he had a big crush on her. Funny how things turn out.

Interesting choice of people......all makes and models!!

I like Marie as well. She really has come a long way since her depression. She is also in the middle of getting a divorce after a long seperation from her husband. (About time) ... so this may be a way to break out of the shell- so to speak. She also knows how to stand on her own too feet and push back if need be. She also has a wonderful support system.. her brothers- all 8 of them.

I also like Jane Seymour. She just has this classy air about her.

I hope Marie's brothers come to the audience to support her. I'll be keeping my eye out for Donny! Still love him.
