The crying teenager and Sanjaya are enjoying their 15 minutes of fame, however, if enough tenny boppers vote for Sanjaya... we may be seeing more of him... LOL.

Last night was the end of the line for me and American Idol this season. Since the viewers voted Melinda off, I must part ways with the show. I don't enjoy Blake very much. I think he has a slight muscial gift, that's it. Jordan and Melinda both have incredible voices. I guess I don't get what people see in him. It's hard to understand how Blake was picked over Melinda. It just blows my mine.

I know there are many Blake fans, but I don't get it. I really wonder how many people will really buy his music. I have learned from watching the show that just because you like someone and vote for them, you may not necessarily buy their music.

I really liked Kelly Clarkson and tried to vote for her. I could never get through. I also have bought her CD's.
I liked Clay Aiken and voted for him, he's from my town, and I have bought several CDs of his.

I didn't care for Carrie Underwood that much. I thought she was stiff and boring. Shows you what I know. She turned into a powerhouse performer. She is tops on the country and top 40 charts. I have also bought her music.

I was crazy over Taylor Hicks but now don't care much for his music. I saw him on tv recently and thought he was terrible. Not sure what happened. He's still adorable though.

I want an older version of AI. I think the over 30 bunch need a chance.

I was shocked about Melinda getting the boot,but I think she has big plans for the future. I bet Clive has already signed her to a contract. I know Blake has plenty of fans,but I just don't see it. I think Jordan is a powerhouse for being only 17,and she has had my vote from day one. I really thought melinda and Jordan would have gone to the end, and Melinda winning.

Yeah, that's true. Sometimes I think being strapped into the AI title isn't such a great thing. Clay did great without it. Kelly did much better when she got out of her contract with AI. After Fantasia got out of hers, she got a great role on Broadway. I think she is in The Color Purple.

Taylor Hicks has acted like it is a real drag. Anyway, I hope the best for them all, even Blake. I just won't be seeing the finale show for the first time ever.

One of my favorites has always been in the finale until now. I wonder if the total number of voters will go up or down.

I think if Blake wins, the show will be quite disappointed. Maybe they will revamp the show to give the judges a chance to bring back someone they like the way they did in season 1. Clay got voted off and then the judges brought him back on a wild card thing. They stopped doing that for some reason.

Remember that Chris didn't win either............yet he's a huge success!!!!

I really think that many of the top 10 get signed!!!! I love LaKisha!!! But agree that Melinda and Jordin are amazing!!!!

My teens love Blake!!

Yeah, I think the younger people like Blake. Maybe I've gotten too old.LOL.

Chris Daughtery has done wonderful! I love his hit song. I bet he is relieved. He has done much better than Taylor or Katherine the runner up.

What I find amazing is that the day after the last vote, Elisabeth was worried because she said whenever she tried to vote for Blake, she kept getting through. I tried to vote for Melinda many times and only got through once. I must have tried each of the 3 numbers they gave about 30 times. It doesn't make sense to me.
